WHAT MAKES THESE BOOKS DIFFERENT?

The first book "Stock Patterns for Day Trading" began as just a few pages of notes I jotted down to describe certain specific trading strategies used successfully in my own trading. These ideas were distilled from other successful traders as well as from my own trading experiences and research. Over time these strategies were constantly collected and refined through actual trading.

These ideas grew into two distinctive methodologies: day trading and swing trading techniques. The underlying theme relied upon supply and demand, buying pressure vs. selling pressure in individual stocks. High probability trades could be recognized graphically with price bar chart patterns...and traded successfully. Finally, I wrote out all of the trading strategies in detail with annotated chart examples.

When I started training other traders, I continued documenting further detailed descriptions for traders, implementing more diagrams and charts of the different trading techniques that I observed. These were also incorporated into the training, and a fuller more comprehensive manual evolved out of this process with additional trading techniques. I finally organized this material into a book format, and "Stock Patterns for Day Trading 2 - Advanced Techniques" was published.

This relates the story of how a few pages of trading notes evolved into two full-fledged books for stock day traders. Both books explain specific entry and exit strategies for stock poised for strong intraday price moves. Quality trading techniques employed with good money management principles and strict discipline are the underpinnings of success as a stock day trader.
